Heavy rains in Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu, have led to severe flooding, submerging several residential areas.
The ongoing downpours have caused widespread devastation across the country, with more than 60 people confirmed dead. The floods have severely disrupted daily life, with residents seen navigating through knee-deep waters.
In response, the government has deployed over 20,000 security personnel to assist in search and rescue operations. Teams from the Nepal Army, Armed Police Force (APF), and Nepal Police have already rescued 1,415 individuals from various parts of the Kathmandu Valley.
