Russian President Vladimir Putin on October 20 met UAE counterpart Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. President Putin welcomed AL Nahyan for informal dinner at his residence in Novo-Ogaryovo ahead of BRICS summit in Kazan. Putin thanked UAE Prez for his help in prisoner exchanges with Ukraine and said that they will discuss a number of issues in later. Notably, the official talks between President Putin and UAE President will take place on October 21.
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended a special dinner hosted in his honour by Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin, at Putin’s official residence.
During the meeting, the two leaders had a friendly conversation. Al Nahyan thanked Putin for his continued commitment to strengthening UAE-Russian relations and prayed for the progress of the country and its people. In response, the Russian President praised the UAE President and praised his efforts to elevate the relations between the two countries to a strategic partnership. President Al Nahyan arrived in Moscow today on an official visit to the Russian Federation. He was welcomed at Vnukovo International Airport with an official reception ceremony in which flags of UAE and Russia were played and an honour guard welcomed him.
