One person is dead and several others were injured following a crash in Elk Grove Village late Monday.
The two-vehicle crash happened near the intersection of Meacham and Biesterfield roads, according to multiple media reports.
Meacham Road remains closed from Texas and Dakota streets, while Biesterfield Road remains closed between Home Avenue and Michigan Lane.
Additional details about the crash are expected later in the day.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office is reporting an autopsy is slated for one victim of the crash later today.
