Jason Kelce spoofs critic by saying he never washes his feet – Boston Herald

Jason Kelce sparked a social media frenzy on Saturday, when he responded to an insult by claiming he never washes his feet.

But it was all in sarcastic humor responding to a critic.

“Jason Kelce looks like he doesn’t wash his legs or feet,” wrote one X user with the account name “Big Soap // Wash Your Feet.”

The former NFL star then responded tongue-in-cheek, “What kind of weirdo washes their feet….” and followed it up with another message that read, “you have been fed diabolical lies that washing every crevice of your bodies and hair, all the time is somehow better or healthier.”

Some on X took note in how Kelce’s use of the term “diabolical lies” appeared to echo the comments made by his brother’s teammate, Harrison Butker.

Butker had used the phrase “diabolical liars” in his controversial commencement speech on May 16, in which he advised women to remain homemakers and criticized what he believed to be the lies told to them about their potential in the professional world.

‘Diabolical lies’ is an…interesting turn of phrase I think I’ve heard somewhere before,” noted one X commenter.

But it was unlikely Kelce was intending to insult Butker, as his brother recently went on the record calling his kicker a “great person and a great teammate.”

It appears Kelce was more intent on making a statement about cleanliness. “Any dermatologist not in bed with Big Soap will agree!! Hot spots are all that is necessary and actually leads to cleaner healthier skin,” he concluded on X.
