What are Utah’s elected officials intent on hiding?

(Trent Nelson | The Salt Lake Tribune) The Pledge of Allegiance in the House Chamber of the Utah Capitol in Salt Lake City on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024.

Like teenagers trying to hide marijuana use by smoking in a closet, our elected officials recently passed several bills to hide their actions from the public. Trouble is, marijuana smells, just as the recent anti-transparency bills smell.

What are they hiding?

Are they ashamed?

Corruption, like a mushroom, grows in the dark.

We the people, who are the legislators’ employers need to seriously consider these bills when time comes to re-elect these scoundrels who are acting like teenagers with something to hide.

Vote them out!
