Washington (USA), Agency. The US will provide $600 million in additional military aid to Ukraine. The State Department gave this information on Friday.
“I am authorizing our 21st drawdown of US weapons and equipment for Ukraine from September 2021,” US State Secretary Antony Blinken said. The $600 million drawdown includes additional weapons, munitions and equipment from the US Department of Defense.

According to Blinken, President Biden has made it clear that until the situation is resolved, the US will support the people of Ukraine.
With patience and determination, the people of Ukraine are defending their motherland, he said. They are fighting for their future. The United States is constantly helping Ukraine. Ukraine is also fighting the war very bravely and pushing the enemies back.
He said that the capabilities we are providing are helping the people of Ukraine on the battlefield and also making Ukraine stronger for dialogue in the future. Blinken reiterated that the US and its allies support Ukraine.
The Russian military launched a military operation in Ukraine on February 24, three days after Moscow recognized separate regions of Ukraine – Donetsk and Luhansk – as independent entities.
Several countries, including the UK, US, Canada and the European Union, have condemned Russia’s military operations in Ukraine and imposed sanctions on Moscow. These countries have also promised to help Ukraine with military aid to fight Russia.
