Syria: Emergency forces and residents search for survivors after earthquake in Jableh city
Rescuers and residents cleared the rubble of collapsed buildings in the city of Jableh on Monday following the earthquake that struck southern and central Turkey and northern Syria at the night of the same day.
Footage shows a collapsed building along a road where several dozen workers and residents were clearing debris. An excavator was also seen removing heavy building debris.
Local media reported that the mayor of Jableh Ahmad Qanadil gave the death toll from the quake as 25 people died, about 200 were injured and 15 buildings collapsed.

The combined official death toll from the earthquakes across both Turkey and Syria has already risen to over 2,000.
