Palestine: Security forces use gas to disperse march against settlers in Hebron

Palestinian Authority security forces dispersed a protest in the southern West Bank city of Hebron on Friday afternoon.

Protesters marched through the streets carrying Palestinian and Hamas flags and chanted slogans against the settlers.

According to the local media, the march was organised by Hamas, which called for condemnation of the burning of copies of the Holy Koran by settlers, the desecration of the Ibrahim mosque and the attack on the Al-Aqsa mosque.

Palestinian security forces allegedly used tear gas and detained several protesters.
