Ten children were killed and seven injured after their boat capsized on Sunday in northern Pakistan’s Lake Tanda in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Rescue workers could be seen searching for the victims as bystanders watched the operation from the shore.
The boat was carrying between 25 and 30 students from a religious school when it capsized. According to local media reports, the dead ranged from 7 to 14 years old.
