Downtown Atlanta building evacuated after bomb threat


The Downtown Atlanta building home to a U.S. Passport Office, U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs, and the Urban League of Greater Atlanta has been evacuated following a bomb threat.

Atlanta Police confirmed to Rough Draft that it’s “assisting the Federal Protective Service at 230 Peachtree St. NW regarding a reported bomb threat.”

Fox 5 reported a heavy police presence in the area and people standing outside following the evacuation order.
