Derrick White is one win away from an NBA championship, but that may not be the only hardware the Celtics guard pursues in the coming months.

White could potentially join teammates Jayson Tatum and Jrue Holiday in Paris if a current member of the team is unable to compete, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

“I’m told that Derrick White looms as a real potential candidate for Team USA in the Summer Olympics if Kawhi Leonard is unable to successfully rehab back from that knee inflammation that kept him out of the back-end of the playoffs,” Wojnarowski said on “NBA Countdown” ahead of Friday’s Game 4.

Wojnarowski said people have seen White’s “two-way prowess” throughout the season and into the postseason.

The roster currently includes his two teammates, plus LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Joel Embiid, Devin Booker, Anthony Davis, Anthony Edwards, Bam Adebayo, Tyrese Haliburton, and Leonard.

Leonard is dealing with right knee inflammation, and it’s currently unclear how long he’ll be sidelined.

The Olympics begin on July 26.

In other news, Wojnarowski reported that it’s a huge priority for the Celtics and White to agree to an extension this summer.
